Company Profile

Artexis and Easyfairs have now a shared mission: Visit the Future.

With complimentary vision and values, Artexis, our multi-format venues business and Easyfairs, our multi-format events business, are coming together after a quarter century of existence as separate entities.

Together, we are now exceptionally well placed to offer the communities and businesses we serve both superlative venues, which host a wide range of events including trade shows, conferences, congresses, concerts and sporting fixtures, and events, which meet the specific needs of diverse visitor and exhibitor markets.

Artexis Easyfairs is a family business – an important quality as this enables us to pursue our long-term vision and annually reinvest 80% of profits into future projects and activities. In 2013-14, we strengthened our financial credentials. The Group’s equity value increased by 43%, while its net debt–to-equity ratio fell from 53% to 16%. The Group is therefore very well positioned to continue to achieve its growth objectives.

We exist to make an impact on people's lives, as professionals or as private individuals, and we make a positive contribution to local economies. We offer our visitors, exhibitors and partners an inspired vision of the future, so that when they leave our venues and our events they are stronger, better equipped and more knowledgeable than when they arrived. We help people to move forward towards an improved future by giving them an exceptional experience.

We are organised in five regions: Benelux, Nordic, DACH, Spain and UK & Global. We will continue to develop these hubs of excellence to launch events, acquire new events and drive profits.

Our growth strategy combines the following:

  • Established market leader in Belgium and Sweden as both an events organiser and venues owner and manager
  • Significant European market player in important vertical sectors and markets, including bulk solids processing and storage, logistics, packaging, hospitality
  • Player in global niche market with ability to leverage knowledge to geo-clone in emerging markets

Corporate Social Responsibility

Artexis Easyfairs wants to work as a sustainable and responsible company that takes strategic decisions on the basis of economic, ecological and social criteria.

We will create value while demanding less from the environment and contributing more to the welfare of the community.

Events: As an events organiser, we want to reduce the ecological footprint of our events by applying certain measures including sustainable stand building and decoration, eco-friendly marketing, green mobility and more.

Venues: As a venues owner and manager, waste, water and energy management, mobility plans, sustainable procurement, green buildings, and renovation can all lead to a major reduction of our venues’ ecological footprint. As well as the cost savings, a sustainable venue gives us a clear competitive advantage over our competitors, enabling us to attract new prospects and to retain existing customers who want green venues to host their events.
